The first "hot" day of the year brought out the honey bees to collect nectar from the willows, the trees were alive with their buzzing.
I took this very rushed snapshot through bushes from about 50m away of what I think is an immature Bald Eagle that had just pulled a fish from the river. I walked into the scene with the dog, the bird didn't hang around to have more pictures taken. (But could it be an immature Golden Eagle? check out this photo https://www.wildstalbert.com/Other-Wild-Alberta-Places/Jasper-Park/i-W9njqch/A )
A Red-winged Blackbird in full song.
