Two males fight over territorial rights as a bemused female watches.
The previous evening the river was clear. I was there for a sunset shoot. I noticed the pack ice from the lake being drawn into the river by the strong current and by mid morning the ice has half covered the river (ignoring the flood plain part).
Pack ice has been driven up to the tree line at Big Lake.
