The day prior we had freezing rain and wet snow inflicted upon us then a blizzard which blew itself out overnight. We awoke to a bright and sunny -25C/-35C morning and found the male GHO roosting in the usual place.
At last the male GHO has shown up to roost on the owl tree for the fist time this season. He was very comfortable, he didn't open his eyes the whole time we were there. Sturgeon County.
