This pair of Great Horned Owls appear to be trying to give all humanity a lesson by changing their roosting positions from the previous week when they were first observed together! Near St Albert.
These two Great Horned Owls were very tolerant of our (me and the dog) presence nearby on the frozen Sturgeon River. To get this shot with my "long" lens I had to climb the opposite bank and wade through thigh high snow, until the dog refused to go further. Sturgeon County.
