After the black bear left we had a long wait of several hours before our next bear encounter, meanwhile anything that moved was the subject of intense photographic scrutiny, like this dipper who had found a nice salmon egg to eat.
Looking downstream, from beneath the viewing stand where we had "staked out" our positions, the light got quite harsh at times.
Another (or it may have been the same one) bear came through and successfully caught this fish in close proximity to where I happened to positioned.
