Contours
A surprising result when "lifting the blacks" of space around the moon during post processing. This shot of the almost totally eclipsed moon taken in January 2019 from Sturgeon County just prior to the total eclipse. We had light cloud cover that could have contributed to this effect.

Double take
An advantage of an imperfect camera technique combined with a camera with a fast frame rate is that shots taken within fractions of a second of each other can be combined into a single frame!

Through the wire
On a day in November two species of this earth made eye contact through a barbed wire fence. The presence of one of those species is fading as the other continues to consider it a pest and kills it for pleasure. The day was November 11, 2016. Image formed by merging two exposures of the same scene (with focus points adjusted) taken from my car near St Albert. Merged in Affinity Photo and converted to monochrome with Nik Silver Efex Pro2.
