I ran into a pair of Bull Moose the second day in a row, they kind of lined up for me take their portraits, this appears to be the younger one of the two. Sturgeon County
This is a clue for those who wonder how the trees around the edges of grain fields always seem to look cultured with the foliage levelled at a certain height.
Having emerged from the deep bush just a little way up the bank of the Sturgeon River from where I was standing this Bull Moose made his way to the opposite bank and then vanished as silently and quickly as he came. A magical moment. Sturgeon County.
