These deer popped out of the trees close to where we were standing and literally having a discussion with another well known local and accomplished photographer about not seeing any deer around though there are lots of tracks. Unfortunately the "other's" camera was packed away in his vehicle and I got the shot! Sturgeon County, although this field is in the proposed St Albert annexation area.
Unfortunately the industrialization of rural Alberta means that wildlife photography can sometimes have very ugly and cluttered backgrounds, even more than "photo-shopping" can handle. Sturgeon County in the proposed St Albert annexation lands.
