    A moose decides to cross to my side of the now completely frozen and snow covered Sturgeon River while I was photographing it (the moose) at dusk.

    This cow and calf have chosen this spot to bed down for the last several days, gradually they are more relaxed as we pass by (me and the dog) and take a few photos of them. This was taken amidst a freezing rain storm, hence the "wet and spiky" look. Sturgeon County.

    I tried to get ahead of this white tailed buck as he ran towards Carrot Creek at Meadowview Drive. He won the race so I stopped to get a shot of him. He then obliged me by posing in the middle of the road for a few seconds before leaping into the bush.
