These golden eye ducklings seem to been left on their own, the canada goose looked like it was chasing them but there was no obvious signs of aggression, and I have seen the same behaviour with their goslings (see here http://www.wildstalbert.com/WildStAlbert/Large-Birdlife/i-gpvLfnW/A ) so maybe it is just taking care of things?
